Ron Gallucci has been active in the music business for the past 24 years on both amateur and professional levels.
It all started with guitar lessons at the age of 12. While in High School Ron played Bass Guitar and vocals with several bands, playing the local teen dances around Johnstown, PA.
In the late 1980′s, Ron joined a New Wave/dance band called The Kick. The musicians in this band were much older and seasoned. The Kick over the next couple of years gave Ron the experience of playing 4 nights a week in front of large crowds at the top clubs in Western PA and West Virginia.
In early 1990 Ron joined a newly formed Johnstown based hard rock band called Inside Out. Inside Out gathered momentum quickly and independently released two full length CD’s “Inside Out” and “Seasons” that found fans as far away as Europe and Japan. Inside Out toured up and down the East Coast and into the Midwest states of Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and the Dakota’s, and opened for national acts Kansas, 38 Special and Jackyl. Inside Out attracted the attention of a Japanese record label but with no avail. The on surge of Grunge Rock in 1995 took its toll on the band and Ron left exhausted for “the normal life”.
Ron spent the next several years writing and recording original compositions and playing in a few small live projects. In 2002, Ron rejoined the club scene by joining a popular local dance/party band called Ribbon Grass. During this time Ron started writing and recording in his home recording studio a project that became “Strange Days” released June 2011.
Following the debut release Ron continued writing and recording. “Dizzyland” became the follow up release in May 2012.
In November 2012 Ron recorded and released a new single “Something Has To Give”.
